Observation and Reflection from a Typhoon

     Tyhoon Vicenta  struck Hong  Kong on 24th July ,when Vicenta through Hong Kong ,it had made many troubles such as many trees fall down ,the birds lost their house and  died,somebody also wounded in the storm .The biggest effect is to the local farmer as their crops were flooded that made a loss of economic to them.There were also 150 tones massive plastic pellets  fell to the see  so that it wil lead to eco disaster.

          When Vicenta battered Hong Kong ,a scene  most  impressed me must be hundreds passengers slept in the train and the station because the overhead power cable was destroyed by the fallen trees and the railway operator need to repair the power cable in the severe weather,so the MTR corporation halted the train services,a commuter-loaded train also stop on the East Rail line after  a tree fell.  But  the passengers very dissayisfatory with the MTR"s inferior emengency  management.They also criticised the rail opperator for not arranging  buses to take them to their destination and  didn"t say when the train services  would  restore.

         In that case,I suggest the CEO of the MTR corp need to stay in their corporation and he or she need to call the Hong Kong Observatory to confirm when the tyhoon Vicenta will arrive Hk ,and then  he or she need to phone the  TV station to announce that the train services will halt after 30mintues  so the commuter can choose other transports  go home or stay in their company  so that there were not hundreds slept in the train and the station and passengers would not criticised the MTR corp.

          Although,the MTR corp made a  mistake  it also had  a  good  aspect  we should  appreciate that when hundeeds of passengers stayed in the station their staff had provided some food and water to the passengers.Did you see this scene?Through that incident I think that  most Hongkonger are very  self-fish and no have critical tinking.If people change these  weak point our society will more harmoious.

Cooking, Food and Love

    
To write a article with the title “Cooking, Food and Love”is a difficult assignment to me as I only like eating and also rare to cooking so I consider how to complete that article many days.
     It´s  fact that if the chief  uses his heart to cooking ,his  dishes will  cheer up the customer and let them forget their vexation such dessert.I like eat  a bucket of Haagen Dazs when I confront some unhappy things that will make me happy again and give me power to face the problems.
     unfortunately,when you refer ‘cooking’that word to me you will make me crazy !Why?This is because there were two horible things had broken up to me.In many years ago my mother told me that if you want to become a dutiful wife and loving mother you must learn how to cook ,but in my first time of cooking  I fried a plate of balsame pear to my families  they felt sick when they ate my dish, my mother also vomit.

I still remember  my second   time in cooking,I  fried a plate of meat ,my sister and brother not have brave to eat so it remain a large plate of meat when my mother return home from work and see that plate of meat，she didn’t want to waste  Food and told me that there are lots of children are hungry so she tried her best to eat all the meat .Unluckily, the God not stay her side to protest her health so she also felt sick with her tripe .Through these things I never want to cooking again because It is prove that I have no talent in cooking and to ensure my families´health the best thing is never cooking .
      I am the worst chief in the world!!

My Learning Experience - Joy and Challenges

     If you ask JOJO,do you like learning?I will say YES  with determination.Why I like learning ?This is because that  although  the processs of  learning is quite miserable ,I really enjoy the results. When you  spend more time and effort by sacrificing some of your leisure or time with your friends and families in learning you can score a satisfied result in your studies.I convinced that‘No pains no gains’
      As you know when I was thirteen years old ,I moved to Hong Kong from mainland China .There are lot  of students come from mainland China  and  we all need to adapt the living environment  in Hong Kong .But  it is not a challenge for us  , I think the biggest dare to us is to overcome the learning hardships.when I was a form one student ,there were a load of  student who born in Hong Kong  and have good  English skills ,they always ridicule my poor English skills.But I have´t detest them because  they encourage me to work hard in my studies.To memorising words is a common way for all student  to catch up the standard of  their classmates I also use that way to improve my English,so I suffered  many hardships during the process of memorising words.I request myself to memorise 50 to 100 words a day.But it is worth to do that becaues I can see the progress in my English.I went from scoring just 17 out of 100 in a English test to more than 50 .
        In addition ,I also had problem in speaking Cantonese.The reason is that I just speak dialect in my native place.when  I was revising for the Chinese subject  It tried to speak out the words so that I can improve my poor Cantonese.In the present day ,I do not use that way in my revising  as you know I can speak Cantonese with  fluency to you ^^I am proud of myself.
        finally，if you are weak in your studies do not give up and I believe that ‘Nothing is impossible’，pay your effort and heart in your learning you will gain a surprised return .Trust me and take your action immediately:)

My First Encounter with African Culture - Music and Dance

          All of the  S5 student  had a wonderful time in 27th June 2012,when that day was all from 5 student ´s after examination activity.All of us had a oppotunity to relax  the  nervous tention and  gathered with classmates to build up our friendship.:)   
             Moreover,we also had a chance to see our principal   and teachers how to show their talent when they  took part in the activity， which need a leader  walked around the activity´s area ，accroding she or he ´s steps stuents used their drums and hands  to reflect the leader.It is very funny.^^The most impression part to me must be to become one of the leader to use my own steps led all the students followed my rhythms and created a music together.It was a great try for me even several once to become a leader in the activity.
              I think that Other  Learing  Experience is quite  entertaining and meaningful to all students.This is because that activity was not just give a chance to students play together ,students also can learn some useful things here such as they can learn how to become a  brilliant leader.If you want to be a

successful  leader,you must be creative.Creativity  is one of the important elements to a leader.People is general think that “creativity” is to describe somebody ,who has a load of bright,special ideas,but it say the same thing here,because a leader of  that activity must have many ideas to use his or  her  mind with their feet to create different rhythms to give a signal for the students to follow,so they can create a miracle music together.

              In addition, I think my English teacher is right,Although all of  S5 students ´summer is coming, we still need to pay attention in our learning.The time is short  for us to prepare  well  for our  last examination—DSE，so that we need to revise and do more past papers in the summer time to fight down the DSE.FIGHTING!FIGHTING!!!\(^o^)/~
